As the lazy days of summer wind down, I'm trying to enjoy every moment. Hey, wait a minute...every season is the same for me, so I don't need to worry about summer ending. I'm going to start enjoying every moment of fall soon. My day is just about perfect, breakfast at 6:00 AM on schedule (if I bark loud enough), then a nap; snack about 9:00 AM, then a nap; lunch about 11:00 AM, then a nap; afternoon snack about 1:00 PM, then another nap and so on until the last nap turns into bedtime about 8:00 PM. This blog is about the hardest thing I have to do all day. By the way, Google, I'm still waiting for my email account!

I've been putting on a few pounds lately and have been trying to take them off with some nasty dog food. The Diet Iams was too good and I gobbled that yummy stuff up, so the boss switched me to the nasty stuff. The dieting is going pretty slow, so I decided to add an exercise component to my day...the treadmill. I jump on the back when my owners are exercising to get a free ride and rid myself of a few calories. The only problem is my focus. I'm ADD and can't focus on one thing. I jump on and then look around, and whamo, I'm slung on the floor, I jump back up, get distracted, whamo again, I'm slung to the floor. This goes on for a while. It is a good idea, but maybe Borders just were not cut out for this. I've got to come up with a better idea. Chase squirrels? Naaaa, they are my buds.

I have been pouring out my little heart on this blog and still no free Google email account. Today was a good day. I just hung out at home and napped a little. It is great having all of my family home. I feel loved.

Today was the dreaded BATH DAY. Oh no... The routine is dehumanizing for a smart dog like me. My owner wrestles me into the bathtub, pours water all over me and suds me up with disgustingly stinky shampoo. My many attempts to escape are easily thwarted by my warden. I did get her back with a "little surprise" I deposited in the living room after the ordeal. I will suffer from frizzies for a few days, but will recover until the next dreaded "BATH DAY."

Yesterday was fun because someone forgot to close the pantry door where my yummy snacks are stored, the garbage! Adrienne was horrified to see my mess all over the kitchen floor, but it was fun. I love garbage more than lettuce.

The rain continues...I'm afraid of lightening and we have been having terrible storms. My family doesn't understand my fear. It is only safe on the second floor. I will crash all pet gates to get to safety when lightening strikes, earthquakes shake the house, or sonic booms rattle the windows from the F22 Raptors that fly over. It is a rough world out there. Coco World is safe...the Real World is scary.

I need to talk about "Bone." My owners are always asking me, "Where's Bone?" I do have an attachment to my rawhide chew, but please give me a break. They are making me neurotic. It is hard enough to keep up with one, but then they give me three! It is a rough doggy life. Coco World is suppose to be fun and carefree.
